The conference organising committee has taken on board your feedback for 2012 and incorporated this into the format which will feature high calibre keynote presentations, a range of plenary and special interest sessions and contributions from our members in the form of selected papers and professional development workshops. Our delegate streams will focus on themes of Leadership and Resilience, Pastoral Care, Support and the Student Experience and Housing/Business Operations, just to name a few. Of course it would not be an AACUHO Conference without a great range of networking opportunities. You’ll have chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones and see a bit of Wollongong and surrounds.New to 2012 will be the extended pre-conference study tour, visiting some of NSW and ACT’s premier university residences. Make sure you book a place early as our 2011 New Zealand study tour filled fast and many delegates missed out on this unique experience. We encourage you, as members, to get involved by presenting a member’s paper or participating in a delegate session. At an AACUHO conference you sharing your valuable knowledge and providing a chance to enhance understanding among your peer group and open up some healthy discussion on any given topic. Members should also consider applying or nominating for an AACUHO award or scholarship (details can be found at www.aacuho.edu.au) The Adden Scholarship is an award presented through our affiliation with ACUHO-I and is awarded to a member of AACUHO and ACUHO-I, who presents the best member paper at our AACUHO conference. The recipient is partially sponsored to attend an ACUHO-I Conference in the USA and present their paper.
